Hines Ugandan Ministries was begun in Kamonkoli, Uganda over 20 years ago. We have been called by God to work full time in Kamonkoli. This is such a vibrant ministry and it is making a difference in the world by caring for the needs of orphans and widows through the love of Jesus Christ. Click here for more information!

We believe God has called us to glorify His name by serving Him wherever He places us!. We both have a lifelong passion for world missions and have spent much time in preparation through short term mission trips, sponsoring orphans around the world and praying for God's clear call.
Jim has 40 years experience in leadership, team managemen

Jim has 40 years experience in leadership, team management, and bi-vocational ministry. He has earned the Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership from Rockbridge Seminary.
Phyllis earned her Master of Science in Nursing from UT-Arlington and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has over 35 years experience and has served in children's ministry for over 20 years.

Jesus said in Matthew 25: 35-36: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
Our mission is to be Jesus to the least of these.
